- fr-CA keyword field researched against French search terms, not translated from the English field.
- Screenshots: French captions, 6.9" and 6.5" iPhone sizes.
- Google Play fr-CA store listing, same fields.
- Interface strings, returned in the source format: .strings, .xcstrings, JSON, ARB.
- Register: Quebec French.

How many Quebec apps this affects
I ran this check on 7 September 2026. Method: search the Canadian App Store for 21 Quebec place and institution names, then read every app returned twice through Apple's own public lookup endpoint, once with lang=fr_ca and once with lang=en_ca. When both calls come back with the same title and the same description, there is no separate French (Canada) listing on that app and Apple is serving the English one to French speakers.
1,233 apps came back. 96 of them are Quebec apps carrying a single listing, in English. All 96 are listed here, with the method. A full worked sample of the deliverable, written on one of them, is here. The ten with the most ratings:
